Gopro 12 4K 60 FPS Vs. Action 4 4K 60 FPS Who records how long?

Hapuna beach was disappointing. Went yesterday. The sand isn’t white but more light brown. Lani Kai or waimanalo has white sand. The water there was not turquoise but darker. Not great.

I have to do 4k at 30fps since 60fps lags in post.

Great video! I was watching another RUclips video about this ghosting problem, and that video referenced your video, so I checked it out. Not only do you tell us HOW to get the Labs features, but you explain WHY we need them. I'm a new GoPro owner, got my Hero 11 for Christmas 2023 as a Costco bundle. I used it in January at a restaurant and got ghosting despite having hypersmooth turned on. Searching for ideas on how to prevent ghosting, I eventually found out about GoPro Labs. Your instructions were so easy to follow, that I felt satisfied just to get the software downloaded and installed. It wasn't until a week later that I decided to try the recommended setting, and I couldn't believe how easy it was! Just point the GoPro at the QR code on the screen!!! Wow, THAT is EASY! And now I get no ghosting, especially outdoors going from sun to shade. Thanks for a great, detailed tutorial.

what settings does this apply for low light / night for gp log (with no noise or minimal)

4:57 Hi. Im looking forward to buy insta 360 x4 for recording motovlog, But im worried that if its raining and i use external microphone the mic adapter attached will broke the camera because of water. Is it still waterproof when mic adapter is attached ? Thankyouu 😁

My test, experience: this information is hardly mentioned on RUclips. Set your OSMO Action4 to at least 1/160sec or better 1/200sec in Rock Steady mode (digital stabilizer). The stabilizer is overwhelmed with shorter exposure times and you get unusable, blurry images. So you can forget about the often recommended 25/30 images with a 50/60sec exposure time with ND filter "Motion Blur" (180 degree rule) for smooth images. You almost always need digital stabilization switched on with an action cam.

Nice video. I could use some advice. If I set my insta 360 x4 to interval to use as a nightlapse, how would I turn this into a video. I have access to 360 studio and davinci resolve free version. I know how to do this with a fixed composition, however I'm not sure how to do it with 360 images?

I also bought a Sony Alpha so I have been using it a lot, just because it’s new to me. I use the Volta all the time also!! I record in mostly 16:9 to post to instgram/social media if i want to. Why does gyroflow not work in 16:9 & only in 4:3. Is 4:3 even good to use for instagram/social media?

Without gimbal: Force a short shutter speed by 60fps or fixed shutter eg. 1/200th, accept the noise (cause noise can be controlled well in post) and have a nice time with hypersmooth on. If thats too dark, your phone most likely has better optical stabilization and I'd switch to that if no other equip is there. Leaving 60fps on saved my life many times, eg diving, and avoided eis jitter. If you want 24fps for artsy reasons, davinci and co will all be able to generate 180°-like motion blur and interpolated 24fps anyways

The issue with ND filters is when Mountain biking and the camera if bouncing or where there is a lot of camera motion and gimbals are not practical. The greater the ND stops, to achieve 180 degree rule, the worse the stabilization so you must throw out the 180 degree rule and make stability the priority. A key detail that mounting the camera on a vehicle on a paved road does not encapsulate.

I was searching for how to set for night recording and I clicked on your tutorial! I stopped using my GoPro 8 as it was not showing the date and time correctly and it would turn off mid recording even if the battery was full charged. So I put it away and started recording on my iPhone 14 Pro and 13. That worked for awhile but it wasn't a perfectly smooth recording on the iPhone. I am back recording on my GoPro8 while I am cycling, will the settings you have shown here work for me as I am cycling in both day and night. I have some recorded and the clip is really dark at night, I don't remember it being so dark when I use to record on the GoPro a lot when I first bought a couple of years ago. Do I have to reset this for day and for night every time I start to record?

I sold my gp11 to buy gp12 but now i dont know if its better to buy osmo 4 or gp12 as im gopro subscriber and i have all the parts for gopro 🤔🤔🤔 ... do dji have program for pc windows? gopro still no have it so i use quik app on android and its not the best to edit videos

It should be a portable and easy to use as possible as I’m usually out cycling, running, skiing, hiking and use a gorilla pod. But I really miss that great sound quality to capture the atmosphere. Hello. I want to live stream while fishing by sharing the internet from my phone. As far as I know, Gopro can also record to SD card while live streaming. Is there the same feature in Insta360 Ace pro , DJI Osmo Pocket 3 and DJI Osmo Action 4? Which one do you recommend for live streaming?

Hi. My x4 was just arrived and I'm looking for some wireless mic. Till today I thought the Rode wirelles go 2 will be best option but I was sceptic about all accessories I need to connect. Like cold feet, mic adapter and rode reciever. Now I saw on Ur video is possible to connect DJI Mic 2 via Bluetooth with x4. And now my question is... is it works fine, no problem with connection, loosing connection during record etc. ?
